Jeff Kilstein, Psy.D
Dr. Jeff Kilstein is a licensed psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. His work is grounded in a cognitive‑behavioral approach that helps clients develop practical, strengths‑based strategies to better manage life’s stressors. In session he brings a warm, nonjudgmental presence, a direct, collaborative style, and often uses gentle humor to help clients feel more comfortable and engaged in the therapeutic process. His treatment philosophy centers on the belief that meaningful progress occurs when clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with real skills they can confidently use beyond the therapy room.
Dr. Kilstein earned his doctoral degree from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has trained and worked in hospital settings in New York City and Westchester, as well as schools across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. His clinical expertise includes supporting professionals and students in high‑pressure environments, children and teens navigating social, emotional, or academic challenges, and adults seeking to reduce stress, improve communication, and strengthen relationships at work and at home. He also has extensive experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and behavioral concerns.
Ed Milton, LMSW
Ed Milton is a licensed social worker with more than twenty‑five years of experience working with adolescents, college and graduate students, young professionals, and adults. He takes a collaborative, solution‑focused approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and strengths‑based practices, helping clients develop healthy coping skills, manage stress, improve communication, regulate emotions, and strengthen relationships. Ed brings an energetic, supportive, and nonjudgmental presence to his work, creating a comfortable and relaxed environment where clients feel understood and engaged.
Ed earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. His clinical focus includes supporting adolescents navigating social and emotional development, students managing academic and interpersonal pressures, and young professionals and adults working to balance stress, relationships, and life transitions. Across these groups, he helps individuals build practical skills that promote resilience, confidence, and long‑term well‑being. His work is driven by a commitment to helping clients create meaningful change and move forward with greater clarity, strength, and purpose.

Talia Zarbiv, Psy.D
Dr. Talia Zarbiv is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and Connecticut who works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. In session she takes a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach that integrates cognitive behavioral strategies to help clients better understand their patterns, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools for managing emotions and improving day-to-day functioning. She has extensive experience working with students and professionals in high‑stress academic and work environments, helping them manage performance pressure, maintain work–life balance, and communicate more effectively with family members and colleagues. She has a subspecialty in supporting new parents and working with perinatal women as they adjust to the identity shifts of parenthood.
Dr. Zarbiv has trained across a range of clinical settings, including Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Jacobi Hospital, and Lincoln Hospital, with experience in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings. She earned her Psy.D. and Ms.Ed. from Pace University and her B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University.
Kara Ford-Heyliger, Ed.D
Dr. Kara Ford‑Heyliger is a certified school psychologist with nearly 15 years of professional experience in the field. She conducts comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how brain processes shape learning, attention, memory, and academic development. She brings a careful, compassionate presence and explains complex information in a way that feels accessible and meaningful to individuals and families. She specializes in identifying each client's strengths and areas of need, and her philosophy centers on providing evaluations that help individuals feel understood, while giving caregivers and educators clear, practical insights they can confidently use to support growth.
Dr. Ford‑Heyliger earned her Master’s degree in School Psychology from Iona College and her Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) from Northeastern University. She also holds a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology credential from the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP). She has extensive experience evaluating students with learning differences, attention and executive‑function challenges, autism spectrum profiles, and social‑emotional or behavioral concerns. Her goal is to ensure that every assessment provides meaningful, actionable information that helps individuals thrive in their educational environments.
Roni Zarbiv, LCSW
Roni Zarbiv is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. His work is grounded in an integrative, cognitive-behavioral approach that helps clients develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and build healthier daily routines and relationships. Roni brings an engaging, supportive, and collaborative style to treatment, which helps clients feel motivated and empowered as they work toward meaningful and lasting change. His clinical interests include anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, anger management, substance abuse recovery, stress reduction, self-esteem, and interpersonal functioning.
Roni earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. In addition to his psychotherapy work, he has extensive experience supporting individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and developmental / intellectual disabilities and their families. Throughout his career, he has helped clients strengthen functional daily living, and better develop social and emotional regulation skills in preparation for independent housing, while also addressing behavioral needs, sexuality, and substance abuse-related concerns within this population.
